There is no better place to BE, than right here at bar ellis!
Located in beautiful Downtown Noblesville, Indiana. The “ellis” name comes from the phonetic sound of the letters L.S…which stands for “little sis”.
Owned and operated by Lisa Wampler, and sister Chamron Baird, it’s definitely a family affair here at bar ellis.
The kitchen is run by local Chef Bryce Scott and team. We serve casual yet upscale comfort food, with some of our most popular items being- Chicken and Noodles, Pork Schnitzel and Bacon Wrapped Shrimp appetizer!
Our vegan and vegetarian menu offers plant-based options for our diners as well as craft cocktails & mocktails, wine, beer and the best house-made desserts around.
bar ellis has loads of charm, being located inside of a historical 1869, skinny brick building on the south side of the square. We are only 17 feet wide, so cozy is our middle name! Enjoy our 2 bars, 3 season rooftop patio, and outdoor alley seating when weather permits.
The fun doesn’t end when dinner is over at BE.
Join us for late night bites and drinks, with live entertainment during our “after dark” hours when the lights go down and the music goes up!

What are your operating hours?
Our current hours of operation can be found HERE
Do you accept reservations?
Reservations are recommended, and we also accept walk-ins. We have 2 bars that are open seating and full service.

Do you have free parking?
The Levinson Parking Garage is located directly behind bar ellis at 868 Maple Avenue on the corner of South 9th Street and Maple Ave. Parking in The Levinson is free for the first 3 hours. You can park and come out of the south entrance, onto the South Alley, which will bring you directly behind bar ellis!
There is also free street parking located throughout the downtown square.

When do you have live entertainment?
- Karaoke Night Every Friday from from 9:00-Midnight (Starting 1/9/26)
- Live Music Every Saturday from 9:00-Midnight
- DJ David Peck plays the first Saturday of Every Month from 9pm-Midnight

Are you a “family friendly” establishment?
We are family friendly for dinner until 10pm from Tuesdays through Thursdays, and until 9:30PM on Fridays and Saturdays. After that time we will switch to 21+ only for “after dark”.
Are you handicap accessible?
Most of our dining will be on the second floor. This does require our guests to walk up a large flight of steps where the rooftop patio is located. If you can not do stairs, please indicate this on your reservation so we can be sure to reserve you a table on the main level. (Seating on the main level is very limited) We do not have an elevator, but we will have handicap accessible seating on the first floor.
